Scenario:
Using GetITRight as a Regression Test Tool
  1. Setup desktop to your starting point for test
  2. Right-click the GetITRight icon in the system tray
  3. Click "Script Builder" and "Start Recording" menus
  4. Select a new or existing automated task group name
  5. Perform your application test from beginning to end
  6. Right-click the GetITRight icon in the system tray again to stop recording
  7. Click "Run Script" menu
  8. Select all or partial task playback and click OK to run
Using GetITRight as a Data Conversion Tool
  1. Create tab (.txt) or comma delimited (.csv) file records from the application you are converting from
  2. Navigate the target application which will receive the conversion data to the data entry screen which will accept the data
  3. Right-click the GetITRight icon in the system tray
  4. Click "Script Builder" and "Start Recording" menus
  5. Select a new or existing automated task group name
  6. Follow the steps in target application window(s) to add or update one record into the system
  7. Right-click the GetITRight icon in the system tray again to stop recording
  8. Click "Run Script" menu
  9. Right-click script file for editing
  10. Add file read, field placement and looping script commands to recorded script and save
     
  11. Click OK to run script which will loop through all records in conversion file and
    add/update target file.
  12. View restore report for data conversion details and any errors
     
  13. Remote productivity and process monitoring.
